അവർ അപ്പം കൊണ്ടുപോരുവാൻ മറന്നു പോയിരുന്നു; പടകിൽ അവരുടെ പക്കൽ ഒരു അപ്പം മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളു.

King James Version (KJV): Now [the disciples] had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.
World English Bible (WEB): They forgot to take bread; and they didn’t have more than one loaf in the boat with them.
American Standard Version (ASV): And they forgot to take bread; and they had not in the boat with them more than one loaf.

12അവൻ ആത്മാവിൽ ഞരങ്ങി: ഈ തലമുറ അടയാളം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? ഈ തലമുറെക്കു അടയാളം ലഭിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു,
13അവരെ വിട്ടു പിന്നെയും പടകു കയറി അക്കരെക്കു കടന്നു.
14അവർ അപ്പം കൊണ്ടുപോരുവാൻ മറന്നു പോയിരുന്നു; പടകിൽ അവരുടെ പക്കൽ ഒരു അപ്പം മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളു.
15അവൻ അവരോടു: നോക്കുവിൻ, പരീശരുടെ പുളിച്ചമാവും ഹെരോദാവിന്റെ പുളിച്ചമാവും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
16നമുക്കു അപ്പം ഇല്ലായ്കയാൽ എന്നു അവർ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
