2. 38“ഞാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്നാൽ എന്തെങ്കിലും പറവാൻ എനിക്കു കഴിയുമോ? ദൈവം എന്റെ നാവിന്മേൽ ആക്കിത്തരുന്ന വചനമേ ഞാൻ പ്രസ്താവിക്കയുള്ളു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
3. 39അങ്ങനെ ബിലെയാം ബാലാക്കിനോടുകൂടെ പോയി; അവർ കിര്യത്ത് - ഹൂസോത്തിൽ എത്തി.
4. 40ബാലാക്ക് കാളകളെയും ആടുകളെയും അറുത്തു ബിലെയാമിന്നും അവനോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കും കൊടുത്തയച്ചു.
5. 41പിറ്റെന്നാൾ ബാലാക്ക് ബിലെയാമിനെ ബാമോത്ത്-ബാലിലേക്കു കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി; അവിടെനിന്നു അവൻ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഒരു അറ്റം കണ്ടു.
