- 17ഞാൻ കുതിരകളെയും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു ഇരിക്കുന്നവരെയും ദർശനത്തിൽ കണ്ടതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നാൽ: അവർക്കു തീനിറവും രക്തനീലവും ഗന്ധകവർണ്ണവുമായ കവചം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; കുതിരകളുടെ തല സിംഹങ്ങളുടെ തലപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു; വായിൽ നിന്നു തീയും പുകയും ഗന്ധകവും പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
- 18വായിൽ നിന്നു പറപ്പെടുന്ന തീ, പുക, ഗന്ധകം എന്നീ മൂന്നു ബാധയാൽ മനുഷ്യരിൽ മൂന്നിലൊന്നു മരിച്ചുപോയി.

- 20ഇവയാലത്രേ കേടു വരുത്തുന്നതു. ഈ ബാധകളാൽ മരിച്ചുപോകാത്ത ശേഷം മനുഷ്യരോ ദുർഭൂതങ്ങളെയും, കാണ്മാനും കേൾപ്പാനും നടപ്പാനും വഹിയാത്ത പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, ചെമ്പു, കല്ലു, മരം ഇവകൊണ്ടുള്ള ബിംബങ്ങളെയും നമസ്കരിക്കാതവണ്ണം തങ്ങളുടെ കൈപ്പണി വിട്ടു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടില്ല.
- 21തങ്ങളുടെ കൊലപാതകം, ക്ഷുദ്രം, ദുർന്നടപ്പു, മോഷണം എന്നിവ വിട്ടു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടതുമില്ല.
