2. 5దావీదు నిమిత్తము అతని తరువాత అతని కుమారుని నిలుపుటకును, యెరూష లేమును స్థిరపరచుటకును, అతని దేవుడైన యెహోవా యెరూషలేమునందు దావీదునకు దీపముగా అతని ఉండ నిచ్చెను.
3. 6రెహబాము బ్రదికిన దినములన్నియు అతనికిని యరొబామునకును యుద్ధము జరుగుచుండెను.
4. 7అబీ యాము చేసిన యితర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన వాటన్నిటినిగూర్చియు యూదారాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడి యున్నది. అబీయామునకును యరొబామునకును యుద్ధము కలిగి యుండెను.
5. 8అబీయాము తన పితరులతో కూడ నిద్రించగా వారు దావీదు పురమందు అతనిని సమాధిచేసిరి; అతని కుమారుడైన ఆసా అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.
