4. 17అప్పుడు సౌలుతప్పించుకొని పోవు నట్లుగా నీవు నా శత్రువుని పంపివేసి నన్నీలాగున ఎందుకు మోసపుచ్చితివని మీకాలు నడుగగా మీకాలునెనెందుకు నిన్ను చంపవలెను? నన్ను పోనిమ్మని దావీదు తనతో చెప్పినందుకని సౌలుతో అనెను.
5. 18ఆలాగున దావీదు తప్పించుకొని పారిపోయి రామాలో నున్న సమూయేలునొద్దకు వచ్చి సౌలు తనకు చేసినది అంతటిని అతనికి తెలియజేయగా అతడును సమూయేలును బయలుదేరి నాయోతుకు వచ్చి అచట కాపురముండిరి.
