16ఈలాగున యెహోవా దావీదుయొక్క శత్రువుల చేత దాని విచారించునట్లుగా యోనాతాను దావీదు సంతతివారిని బట్టి నిబంధన చేసెను.
17యోనాతాను దావీదును తన ప్రాణస్నేహితునిగా ప్రేమించెను గనుక ఆ ప్రేమనుబట్టి దావీదుచేత మరల ప్రమాణము చేయించెను.
18మరియు యోనాతాను దావీదుతో ఇట్లనెనురేపటిదినము అమావాస్య; నీ స్థలము ఖాళిగా కనబడును గదా;
19నీవు మూడు దినములు ఆగి, యీ పని జరుగు చుండగా నీవు దాగియున్న స్థలమునకు త్వరగా వెళ్లి ఏసెలు అనుబండ దగ్గర నుండుము
20గురి చూచి ప్రయో గించినట్టు నేను మూడు బాణములను దాని ప్రక్కకు కొట్టి
