3. 13అంతట దావీదును దాదాపు ఆరువందల మందియైన అతని జనులును లేచి కెయీలాలో నుండి తరలి, ఎక్కడికి పోగలరో అక్కడకు వెళ్లిరి. దావీదు కెయీలాలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనిన సంగతి సౌలు విని వెళ్లక మానెను.
4. 14అయితే దావీదు అరణ్యములోని కొండస్థలముల యందును, జీఫు అను అరణ్యమున ఒక పర్వతమందును నివాసము చేయుచుండెను; సౌలు అనుదినము అతని వెదకినను దేవుడు సౌలుచేతికి అతని నప్పగించలేదు.
5. 15తన ప్రాణము తీయుటకై సౌలు బయలుదేరెనని తెలిసికొని దావీదు జీఫు అరణ్యములో ఒక వనమున దిగెను.
