ఏలీదగ్గరకు పోయినీవు నన్ను పిలిచితివి గదా నేను వచ్చినాననెను. అతడునేను పిలువలేదు, పోయి పండుకొమ్మని చెప్పగా అతడు పోయి పండుకొనెను.

Eleedaggaraku poyineevu nannu pilichitivi gadaa nenu vachchinaananenu. Atadunenu piluvaledu, poyi pandukommani cheppagaa atadu poyi pandukonenu.

King James Version (KJV): And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

3దీపము ఆరిపోకమునుపు సమూయేలు దేవుని మందసమున్న యెహోవా మందిరములో పండు కొనియుండగాను
4యెహోవా సమూయేలును పిలిచెను. అతడుచిత్తమండి నేనున్నానని చెప్పి
5ఏలీదగ్గరకు పోయినీవు నన్ను పిలిచితివి గదా నేను వచ్చినాననెను. అతడునేను పిలువలేదు, పోయి పండుకొమ్మని చెప్పగా అతడు పోయి పండుకొనెను.
6యెహోవా మరల సమూ యేలును పిలువగా సమూయేలు లేచి ఏలీయొద్దకు పోయిచిత్తము నీవు నన్ను పిలిచితివి గనుక వచ్చితిననెను. అయితే అతడు నా కుమారుడా, నేను నిన్ను పిలువలేదు, పోయి పండుకొమ్మనెను.
7సమూయేలు అప్పటికి యెహో వాను ఎరుగకుండెను, యెహోవా వాక్కు అతనికి ఇంక ప్రత్యక్షము కాలేదు.
