King James Version (KJV): And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.

9నీవు పోయి, పండుకొమ్ము, ఎవరైన నిన్ను పిలిచినయెడలయెహోవా, నీ దాసుడు ఆలకించుచున్నాడు, ఆజ్ఞనిమ్మని చెప్పుమని సమూయేలుతో అనగా సమూయేలు పోయి తన స్థలమందు పండుకొనెను.
10తరువాత యెహోవా ప్రత్యక్షమై నిలిచి ఆ రీతిగాసమూయేలూ సమూ యేలూ, అని పిలువగా సమూయేలునీ దాసుడు ఆల కించుచున్నాడు ఆజ్ఞయిమ్మనెను.
