అతనికి సౌలు అను నొక కుమారుడుండెను. అతడు బహు సౌందర్యముగల ¸యౌవనుడు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో అతనిపాటి సుందరు డొకడునులేడు. అతడు భుజములు మొదలుకొని పైకి ఇతరులకంటె ఎత్తు గలవాడు.

- 4అతడు పోయి ఎఫ్రాయిము మన్యము తిరిగి షాలిషాదేశమున సంచరింపగా అవి కన బడలేదు. తరువాత వారు షయలీము దేశమును దాటి సంచారము చేసిరి గాని అవి కనబడకయుండెను. బెన్యామీనీయుల దేశము సంచరించి చూడగా అవి దొరకలేదు.
