And a [certain] man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

A certain man drew his bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of the armor. Therefore he said to the driver of the chariot, “Turn around and carry me out of the battle, for I am severely wounded.”

3. 33అప్పుడు ఒకడు గురిచూడకయే తన వింటిని ఎక్కుబెట్టి, ఇశ్రాయేలురాజును అతని కవచపు బందులసందున కొట్టగా అతడునాకు గాయము తగిలినది, నీ చెయ్యి త్రిప్పి దండులోనుండి నన్ను కొనిపొమ్మని తన సారధితో అనెను.
4. 34ఆ దినమున యుద్ధము ప్రబలమాయెను; అయినను ఇశ్రా యేలురాజు అస్తమయమువరకు సిరియనులకెదురుగా తన రథమునందు నిలిచెను, ప్రొద్దుగ్రుంకువేళ అతడు చనిపోయెను.
