2నీ సెలవైతే మేము యొర్దాను నదికి పోయి తలయొక మ్రాను అచ్చటనుండి తెచ్చుకొని మరియొకచోట నివాసము కట్టుకొందుమని మనవి చేయగా అతడువెళ్లుడని ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెను.
3ఒకడుదయచేసి నీ దాసులమైన మాతో కూడ నీవు రావలెనని కోరగా అతడునేను వచ్చెదనని చెప్పి
4వారితోకూడ పోయెను; వారు యొర్దానుకు వచ్చి మ్రానులు నరుకుచుండిరి.
5ఒకడు దూలము నరుకుచున్నప్పుడు గొడ్డలి ఊడి నీటిలో పడి పోగా వాడు అయ్యో నా యేలినవాడా, అది యెరవుతెచ్చినదని మొఱ్ఱపెట్టెను గనుక
6ఆ దైవజనుడు అదెక్కడపడెనని అడిగెను; వాడు అతనికి ఆ స్థలమును చూపింపగా అతడు కొమ్మయొకటి నరికి నీళ్లలో వేయగా గొడ్డలి తేలెను.
