నీవు వెదకు మనిషిని నేను పట్టుకొనగా జనులందరు వచ్చి నీతో సమాధానపడుదురు గనుక నీ చిత్తమైతే నేను పండ్రెండు వేలమందిని ఏర్పరచుకొనిపోయి యీ రాత్రి దావీదును తరిమి పట్టుకొందునని అహీతోపెలు అబ్షాలోముతో చెప్పగా

- 5అంతట అర్కీయుడైన హూషై యేమి చెప్పునో మనము వినునట్లు అతని పిలువనంపుడని అబ్షాలోము ఆజ్ఞ ఇయ్యగా, హూషై అబ్షాలోమునొద్దకు వచ్చెను.
