3. 19సహస్రాధిపతి అతని చెయ్యి పట్టుకొని అవతలకు తీసి కొనిపోయి నీవు నాతో చెప్పుకొనవలెనని యున్నదేమని యొంటరిగా అడిగెను.
4. 20అందుకతడు నీవు పౌలునుగూర్చి సంపూర్తిగా విచారింపబోవునట్టు అతనిని రేపు మహాసభ యొద్దకు తీసికొని రావలెనని నిన్ను వేడుకొనుటకు యూదులు కట్టుకట్టి యున్నారు.
5. 21వారి మాటకు నీవు సమ్మతింపవద్దు; వారిలో నలువదిమందికంటె ఎక్కువ మనుష్యులు అతనికొరకు పొంచియున్నారు. వారు అతని చంపువరకు అన్నపానములు పుచ్చుకొనమని ఒట్టు పెట్టుకొనియున్నారు; ఇప్పడు నీయొద్ద మాట తీసికొనవలెనని కనిపెట్టుకొని సిద్ధముగా ఉన్నారని చెప్పెను.
