అంతట రాజగు నెబుకద్నెజరు దానియేలునకు సాష్ఠాంగనమస్కారము చేసి అతని పూజించి, నైవేద్య ధూపములు అతనికి సమర్పింప ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

46అంతట రాజగు నెబుకద్నెజరు దానియేలునకు సాష్ఠాంగనమస్కారము చేసి అతని పూజించి, నైవేద్య ధూపములు అతనికి సమర్పింప ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.
47మరియు రాజుఈ మర్మమును బయలు పరచుటకు నీవు సమర్థుడవైతివే; నీ దేవుడు దేవతలకు దేవుడును రాజులకు ప్రభువును మర్మములు బయలుపరచు వాడునై యున్నాడని దానియేలునకు ప్రత్యుత్తర మిచ్చెను.
48అప్పుడు రాజు దానియేలును బహుగా హెచ్చించి, అనేక గొప్ప దానములిచ్చి, అతనిని బబు లోను సంస్థానమంతటిమీద అధిపతినిగాను బబులోను జ్ఞానులందరిలో ప్రధానునిగాను నియమించెను.
