నీవు బహు ప్రియుడవు గనుక నీవు విజ్ఞాపనము చేయ నారంభించి నప్పుడు, ఈ సంగతిని నీకు చెప్పుటకు వెళ్లవలెనని ఆజ్ఞ బయలుదేరెను; కావున ఈ సంగతిని తెలిసికొని నీకు కలిగిన దర్శనభావమును గ్రహించుము.

Neevu bahu priyudavu ganuka neevu vijnyaapanamu cheya naarambhinchi nappudu, ee sangatini neeku chepputaku vellavalenani aajnya bayaluderenu; kaavuna ee sangatini telisikoni neeku kaligina darshanabhaavamunu grahinchumu.

King James Version (KJV): At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew [thee;] for thou [art] greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

22అతడు నాతో మాటలాడి ఆ సంగతి నాకు తెలియజేసి ఇట్లనెను దానియేలూ, నీకు గ్రహింప శక్తి ఇచ్చుటకు నేను వచ్చితిని.

24తిరుగుబాటును మాన్పుటకును, పాపమును నివారణ చేయుటకును, దోషము నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయుటకును, యుగాంతము వరకుండునట్టి నీతిని బయలు పరచుటకును, దర్శనమును ప్రవచనమును ముద్రించుటకును, అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలమును అభిషేకించుటకును, నీ జనమునకును పరిశుద్ధ పట్టణము నకును డెబ్బదివారములు విధింపబడెను.
25యెరూషలేమును మరల కట్టించవచ్చునని ఆజ్ఞ బయలుదేరిన సమయము మొదలుకొని అభిషిక్తుడగు అధిపతి వచ్చువరకు ఏడు వారములు పట్టునని స్పష్టముగా గ్రహించుము. అరువది రెండు వారములు తొందరగల సమయములందు పట్టణపు రాచవీధులును కందకములును మరల కట్టబడును.
