2. 17ఇదిగో ఇతడీమె నొల్లకనీ కుమార్తెయందు కన్యాత్వము నాకు కనబడ లేదనియు అవమానక్రియలు చేసినదనియు ఆమెమీద నింద మోపెను; అయితే నా కుమార్తె కన్యాత్వమునకు గురుతులివే అని పెద్దలతో చెప్పి పట్టణపుపెద్దల యెదుట ఆ బట్టను పరచవలెను.
3. 18అప్పుడు ఆ ఊరి పెద్దలు ఆ మను ష్యుని పట్టుకొని శిక్షించి నూరు వెండి రూకలు అపరాధ ముగా వానియొద్ద తీసికొని
4. 19ఆ చిన్నదాని తండ్రికియ్య వలెను. ఏలయనగా అతడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయురాలైన కన్య కను అవమానపరచియున్నాడు. అప్పుడామె అతనికి భార్యయై యుండును; అతడు తాను బ్రదుకు దినము లన్నిటను ఆమెను విడువకూడదు.
5. 20అయితే ఆ మాట నిజమైనయెడల, అనగా ఆ చిన్నదానియందు కన్యకా లక్షణములు కనబడనియెడల
