యెహోవా మందిరపు లోపలి ఆవరణ ములో నన్ను దింపగా, అక్కడ యెహోవా ఆలయ ద్వారము దగ్గరనున్న ముఖమంటపమునకును బలిపీఠమున కును మధ్యను ఇంచుమించు ఇరువది యయిదుగురు మను ష్యులు కనబడిరి. వారి వీపులు యెహోవా ఆలయము తట్టును వారి ముఖములు తూర్పుతట్టును తిరిగి యుండెను; వారు తూర్పున నున్న సూర్యునికి నమస్కారము చేయు చుండిరి.

King James Version (KJV): And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, [were] about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

17అప్పుడాయన నాతో ఇట్లనెనునరపుత్రుడా, నీవు చూచితివే; యూదావారు ఇక్కడ ఇట్టి హేయ కృత్యములు జరిగించుట చాలదా? వారు దేశమును బలా త్కారముతో నింపుచు నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుదురు, తీగె ముక్కునకు పెట్టుచు మరి ఎక్కువగా నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుదురు.
18కాబట్టి కటాక్షము లేకయు కనికరము చూపకయు నేను నా క్రోధమునగుపరచి, వారు నా చెవులలో ఎంత బిగ్గరగా మొఱ్ఱపెట్టినను నేను ఆలకింప కుందును.
