2. 4మీ మధ్య నేను పరదేశినిగాను పరవాసినిగాను ఉన్నాను. మృతిబొందిన నా భార్య నా కన్నుల యెదుట ఉండకుండ, ఆమెను పాతి పెట్టుటకు మీ తావున నాకొక శ్మశానభూమిని స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇయ్యుడని అడుగగా
3. 5హేతు కుమారులు అయ్యా మా మాట వినుము. నీవు మా మధ్యను మహారాజవై యున్నావు;
4. 6మా శ్మశాన భూములలో అతి శ్రేష్టమైన దానియందు మృతిబొందిన నీ భార్యను పాతిపెట్టుము; నీవు మృతిబొందిన నీ భార్యను పాతి పెట్టునట్లు మాలో తన శ్మశానభూమి ఇయ్యనొల్లనివాడు ఎవడును లేడని అబ్రాహాము కుత్తరమిచ్చిరి.
5. 7అప్పుడు అబ్రాహాము లేచి ఆ దేశపు ప్రజలైన హేతు కుమారులకు సాగిలపడి
