21అతడు కానుకను తనకు ముందుగా పంపించి తాను గుంపులో ఆ రాత్రి నిలిచెను.
22ఆ రాత్రి అతడు లేచి తన యిద్దరు భార్యలను తన యిద్దరు దాసీలను తన పదకొండుమంది పిల్లలను తీసికొని యబ్బోకు రేవు దాటిపోయెను.
23యాకోబు వారిని తీసి కొని ఆ యేరు దాటించి తనకు కలిగినదంతయు పంపివేసెను.
24యాకోబు ఒక్కడు మిగిలి పోయెను; ఒక నరుడు తెల్లవారు వరకు అతనితో పెనుగులాడెను.
