మీ తమ్ముని నా యొద్దకు తీసికొని రండి; అట్లు మీ మాటలు సత్యమైనట్టు కనబడును గనుక మీరు చావరని చెప్పెను. వారట్లు చేసిరి.

- 21అప్పుడు వారు నిశ్చయముగా మన సహోదరుని యెడల మనము చేసిన అపరాధమునకు శిక్ష పొందుచున్నాము. అతడు మనలను బతిమాలు కొనినప్పుడు మనము అతని వేదన చూచియు వినకపోతిమి;అందువలన ఈ వేదన మనకు వచ్చెదనని ఒకనితో ఒకడు మాటలాడుకొనిరి.
- 22మరియు రూబేను ఈ చిన్నవానియెడల పాపము చేయకుడని నేను మీతో చెప్పలేదా? అయినను మీరు వినరైతిరి గనుక అతని రక్తాపరాధము మనమీద మోపబడుచున్నదని వారి కుత్తర మిచ్చెను.
