ఆదాము నూట ముప్పది యేండ్లు బ్రదికి తన పోలికెగా తన స్వరూపమున కుమారుని కని అతనికి షేతు అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

Aadaamu noota muppadi yendlu bradiki tana polikegaa tana svaroopamuna kumaaruni kani ataniki shetu anu peru pettenu.

1ఆదాము వంశావళి గ్రంథము ఇదే. దేవుడు ఆదామును సృజించిన దినమున దేవుని పోలికెగా అతని చేసెను;
2మగవానిగాను ఆడుదానిగాను వారిని సృజించి వారు సృజించబడిన దినమున వారిని ఆశీర్వదించి వారికి నరులని పేరు పెట్టెను.
3ఆదాము నూట ముప్పది యేండ్లు బ్రదికి తన పోలికెగా తన స్వరూపమున కుమారుని కని అతనికి షేతు అను పేరు పెట్టెను.
4షేతును కనిన తరువాత ఆదాము బ్రదికిన దినములు ఎనిమిదివందల ఏండ్లు; అతడు కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను కనెను.
5ఆదాము బ్రదికిన దినములన్నియు తొమ్మిదివందల ముప్పది యేండ్లు; అప్పుడతడు మృతిబొందెను.
