మగవానిగాను ఆడుదానిగాను వారిని సృజించి వారు సృజించబడిన దినమున వారిని ఆశీర్వదించి వారికి నరులని పేరు పెట్టెను.

1ఆదాము వంశావళి గ్రంథము ఇదే. దేవుడు ఆదామును సృజించిన దినమున దేవుని పోలికెగా అతని చేసెను;
2మగవానిగాను ఆడుదానిగాను వారిని సృజించి వారు సృజించబడిన దినమున వారిని ఆశీర్వదించి వారికి నరులని పేరు పెట్టెను.
3ఆదాము నూట ముప్పది యేండ్లు బ్రదికి తన పోలికెగా తన స్వరూపమున కుమారుని కని అతనికి షేతు అను పేరు పెట్టెను.
4షేతును కనిన తరువాత ఆదాము బ్రదికిన దినములు ఎనిమిదివందల ఏండ్లు; అతడు కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను కనెను.
