లేఖికుడైన బారూకును ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయాను పట్టుకొనవలెనని రాజవంశస్థుడగు యెరహ్మెయేలునకును అజ్రీయేలు కుమారుడైన శెరాయాకును అబ్దెయేలు కుమారుడైన షెలెమ్యాకును రాజు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను గాని యెహోవా వారిని దాచెను.
