ఇట్లు చేయుచు ఆయన సీమోను పేతురునొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పుడు అతడు ప్రభువా, నీవు నా పాదములు కడుగుదువా? అని ఆయనతో అనెను.

Itlu cheyuchu aayana seemonu peturunoddaku vachchinappudu atadu prabhuvaa, neevu naa paadamulu kaduguduvaa? Ani aayanato anenu.

4భోజనపంక్తిలోనుండి లేచి తన పైవస్త్రము అవతల పెట్టివేసి, యొక తువాలు తీసికొని నడుమునకు కట్టుకొనెను.
5అంతట పళ్లెములో నీళ్లు పోసి శిష్యుల పాదములు కడుగుటకును, తాను కట్టుకొని యున్న తువాలుతో తుడుచుటకును మొదలుపెట్టెను.
6ఇట్లు చేయుచు ఆయన సీమోను పేతురునొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పుడు అతడు ప్రభువా, నీవు నా పాదములు కడుగుదువా? అని ఆయనతో అనెను.
7అందుకు యేసు నేను చేయుచున్నది ఇప్పుడు నీకు తెలియదుగాని యికమీదట తెలిసికొందువని అతనితో చెప్పగా
8పేతురు నీవెన్నడును నా పాదములు కడుగరాదని ఆయనతో అనెను. అందుకు యేసు నేను నిన్ను కడుగనియెడల నాతో నీకు పాలు లేదనెను.
