నీవు మమ్మును దించిన ఈ కిటికీకి ఈ ఎఱ్ఱని దారమును కట్టి, నీ తండ్రిని నీ తల్లిని నీ అన్నదమ్ములను నీ తండ్రి యింటివారి నందరిని నీయింట చేర్చుకొనుము.

King James Version (KJV): Behold, [when] we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father’s household, home unto thee.

19నీ యింటి ద్వారములలోనుండి వెలుపలికి వచ్చువాడు తన ప్రాణమునకు తానే ఉత్తరవాది, మేము నిర్దోషులమగు దుము. అయితే నీయొద్ద నీ యింటనున్న యెవనికేగాని యే అపాయమైనను తగిలినయెడల దానికి మేమే ఉత్తర వాదులము.
20నీవు మా సంగతి వెల్లడిచేసినయెడల నీవు మాచేత చేయించిన యీ ప్రమాణము విషయములో మేము దోషులము కామనిరి.
