అప్పుడు యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులచేత బెన్యా మీనీయులను హతముచేయించెను. ఆ దినమున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు బెన్యామీనీయులలో ఇరువది యయిదు వేల నూరుమంది మనుష్యులను చంపిరి. వీరందరు కత్తి దూయువారు.

- 34అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరిలోనుండి ఏర్ప రచబడిన పదివేలమంది గిబియాకు ఎదురుగా వచ్చినందున కఠినయుద్ధము జరిగెను. అయితే తమకు అపాయము తటస్థమైనదని బెన్యామీనీయులకు తెలియలేదు.
- 35అప్పుడు యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులచేత బెన్యా మీనీయులను హతముచేయించెను. ఆ దినమున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు బెన్యామీనీయులలో ఇరువది యయిదు వేల నూరుమంది మనుష్యులను చంపిరి. వీరందరు కత్తి దూయువారు.
- 36బెన్యామీనీయులు జరుగుదాని చూచి తమకు అప జయము కలిగినదని తెలిసికొనిరి. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తాము గిబియామీద పెట్టిన మాటుగాండ్రను నమ్మి బెన్యా మీనీయులకు స్థలమిచ్చిరి.
- 37మాటుననున్నవారు త్వరపడి గిబియాలో చొరబడి కత్తివాతను ఆ పట్టణములోనివారి నందరిని హతముచేసిరి.
