ఎట్లనగా షెకెము యజ మానులు కొండ శిఖరములమీద అతని కొరకు మాటు గాండ్లను ఉంచి, ఆ మార్గమున తమకు సమీపించినవారి నందరిని దోచుకొనిరి; అది అబీమెలెకునకు తెలుపబడెను.
