1. 1ఒకప్పుడు సమస్తమైన సుంకరులును పాపులును ఆయన బోధ వినుటకు ఆయన దగ్గరకు వచ్చుచుండగా
2. 2పరిసయ్యులును శాస్త్రులును అది చూచిఇతడు పాపులను చేర్చుకొని వారితో కూడ భోజనము చేయుచున్నాడని చాల సణుగుకొనిరి.
3. 3అందుకాయన వారితో ఈ ఉపమానము చెప్పెను
4. 4మీలో ఏ మనుష్యునికైనను నూరు గొఱ్ఱెలు కలిగి యుండగా వాటిలో ఒకటి తప్పిపోయినయెడల అతడు తొంబది తొమ్మిదింటిని అడవిలో విడిచిపెట్టి, తప్పిపోయి నది దొరకువరకు దానిని వెదక వెళ్లడా?
5. 5అది దొరకినప్పుడు సంతోషముతో దానిని తన భుజములమీద వేసి కొని యింటికి వచ్చి తన స్నేహితులను పొరుగువారిని పిలిచి
