ఆయన హేరోదు అధికారము క్రింద ఉన్న ప్రదేశపు వాడని తెలిసికొని హేరోదునొద్దకు ఆయనను పంపెను. హేరోదు ఆ దినములలో యెరూషలేములో ఉండెను.

Aayana herodu adhikaaramu krinda unna pradeshapu vaadani telisikoni herodunoddaku aayananu pampenu. Herodu aa dinamulalo yerooshalemulo undenu.

King James Version (KJV): And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.
World English Bible (WEB): When he found out that he was in Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem during those days.

5అయితే వారు ఇతడు గలిలయ దేశము మొదలుకొని ఇంతవరకును యూదయ దేశమందంతట ఉపదేశించుచు ప్రజలను రేపు చున్నాడని మరింత పట్టుదలగా చెప్పిరి.
6పిలాతు ఈ మాట విని ఈ మనుష్యుడు గలిలయుడా అని అడిగి
7ఆయన హేరోదు అధికారము క్రింద ఉన్న ప్రదేశపు వాడని తెలిసికొని హేరోదునొద్దకు ఆయనను పంపెను. హేరోదు ఆ దినములలో యెరూషలేములో ఉండెను.
8హేరోదు యేసును చూచి మిక్కిలి సంతోషించెను. ఆయననుగూర్చి చాల సంగతులు విన్నందున ఆయన ఏదైనను ఒక సూచక క్రియ చేయగా చూడ నిరీక్షించి, బహుకాలమునుండి ఆయనను చూడగో రెను.
9ఆయనను చూచినప్పుడు చాల ప్రశ్నలువేసినను ఆయన అతనికి ఉత్తరమేమియు ఇయ్యలేదు.
