17సాయంకాలమైనప్పుడు ఆయన తన పండ్రెండుమంది శిష్యులతో కూడ వచ్చెను.
18వారు కూర్చుండి భోజనము చేయుచుండగా యేసుమీలో ఒకడు, అనగా నాతో భుజించుచున్నవాడు నన్ను అప్పగించునని నిశ్చయముగా మీతో చెప్పుచున్నానని వారితో చెప్పగా
19వారు దుఃఖపడినేనా అని యొకని తరువాత ఒకడు ఆయన నడుగసాగిరి.
20అందుకాయన పండ్రెండు మందిలో ఒకడే, అనగా నాతోకూడ పాత్రలో (చెయ్యి) ముంచు వాడే.
21నిజముగా మనుష్యకుమారుడు ఆయననుగూర్చి వ్రాయబడినట్టు పోవుచున్నాడు; అయితే ఎవనిచేత మనుష్యకుమారుడు అప్పగింపబడుచున్నాడో, ఆ మను ష్యునికి శ్రమ; ఆ మనుష్యుడు పుట్టియుండనియెడల వానికి మేలనెను.
