53యేసు ఈ ఉపమానములు చెప్పి చాలించిన తరువాత, ఆయన అక్కడ నుండి వెళ్లి స్వదేశమునకు వచ్చి, సమాజ మందిరములలో వారికి బోధించుచుండెను.
54అందువలన వారాశ్చర్యపడి ఈ జ్ఞానమును ఈ అద్భుతములును ఇతని కెక్కడనుండి వచ్చినవి?
55ఇతడు వడ్లవాని కుమారుడు కాడా? ఇతని తల్లిపేరు మరియ కాదా? యాకోబు యోసేపు సీమోను యూదాయనువారు ఇతని సోదరులు కారా?
56ఇతని సోదరీమణులందరు మనతోనే యున్నారు కారా? ఇతనికి ఈ కార్యములన్నియు ఎక్కడనుండి వచ్చెనని చెప్పుకొని ఆయన విషయమై అభ్యంతరపడిరి.
57అయితే యేసుప్రవక్త తన దేశము లోను తన ఇంటను తప్ప, మరి ఎక్కడనైనను ఘనహీనుడు కాడని వారితో చెప్పెను.
