అప విత్రుని కొరకు వారు పాప పరిహారార్థమైన హోమభస్మము లోనిది కొంచెము తీసికొనవలెను; పాత్రలో వేయబడిన ఆ భస్మము మీద ఒకడు పారు నీళ్లు పోయవలెను.

- 18తరువాత పవిత్రుడైన యొకడు హిస్సోపు తీసికొని ఆ నీళ్లలో ముంచి, ఆ గుడారముమీదను దానిలోని సమస్త మైన ఉపకరణములమీదను అక్కడనున్న మనుష్యుల మీదను, ఎముకనే గాని నరకబడిన వానినేగాని శవమునే గాని సమాధినేగాని ముట్టినవాని మీదను దానిని ప్రోక్షింపవలెను.
- 19మూడవ దినమున ఏడవ దినమున పవి త్రుడు అపవిత్రునిమీద దానిని ప్రోక్షింపవలెను. ఏడవ దినమున వాడు పాపశుద్ధి చేసికొని తన బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని నీళ్లతో స్నానము చేసి సాయంకాలమున పవిత్రుడగును.
