2. 22అయితే పగపట్టక హఠాత్తుగా వానిని పొడిచి నను, పొంచియుండక వానిమీద ఏ ఆయుధమునైన వేసినను, వాని చూడక ఒకడు చచ్చునట్లు వానిమీద రాయి పడవేసినను,
3. 23దెబ్బతినినవాడు చనిపోయిన యెడల కొట్టిన వాడు వానిమీద పగపట్టలేదు, వానికి హానిచేయ గోరలేదు.
4. 24కాబట్టి సమాజము ఈ విధులనుబట్టి కొట్టిన వానికిని హత్యవిషయములో ప్రతిహత్య చేయువానికిని తీర్పుతీర్చవలెను.
5. 25అట్లు సమాజము నరహత్య విషయ ములో ప్రతిహత్య చేయువాని చేతిలోనుండి ఆ నరహంత కుని విడిపింపవలెను. అప్పుడు సమాజము వాడు పారి పోయిన ఆశ్రయ పురమునకు వాని మరల పంపవలెను. వాడు పరిశుద్ధ తైలముతో అభిషేకింపబడిన ప్రధాన యాజకుడు మృతినొందువరకు అక్కడనే నివసింపవలెను.
