కాబట్టి సమాజము ఈ విధులనుబట్టి కొట్టిన వానికిని హత్యవిషయములో ప్రతిహత్య చేయువానికిని తీర్పుతీర్చవలెను.

- 25అట్లు సమాజము నరహత్య విషయ ములో ప్రతిహత్య చేయువాని చేతిలోనుండి ఆ నరహంత కుని విడిపింపవలెను. అప్పుడు సమాజము వాడు పారి పోయిన ఆశ్రయ పురమునకు వాని మరల పంపవలెను. వాడు పరిశుద్ధ తైలముతో అభిషేకింపబడిన ప్రధాన యాజకుడు మృతినొందువరకు అక్కడనే నివసింపవలెను.
- 26అయితే ఆ నరహంతకుడు ఎప్పుడైనను తాను పారిపోయి చొచ్చిన ఆశ్రయపురముయొక్క సరిహద్దును దాటి వెళ్లు నప్పుడు
