ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో వారు నా వశము చేయ బడినవారు; తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానికిని, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లలో ప్రథమ సంతానమంతటికిని ప్రతిగా వారిని నేను తీసికొనియున్నాను.
Ishraayeleeyulalo vaaru naa vashamu cheya badinavaaru; tolichooliyaina prativaanikini, anagaa ishraayeleeyu lalo prathama santaanamantatikini pratigaa vaarini nenu teesikoniyunnaanu.

- 17ఏలయనగా మనుష్యులలోను పశు వులలోను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైనది యావత్తును నాది; ఐగుప్తుదేశములో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానిని నేను సంహరించిననాడు వారిని నాకొరకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు కొంటిని.
- 18ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానికి మారుగా లేవీయులను తీసికొని యున్నాను.
