1. దేవుడు లోకమును ఎంతో ప్రేమించెను. కాగా ఆయన తన అద్వితీయకుమారునిగా పుట్టిన వానియందు విశ్వాసముంచు ప్రతివాడును నశింపక నిత్యజీవము పొందునట్లు ఆయనను అనుగ్రహించెను.

   For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

2. అదేమనగా యేసు ప్రభువని నీ నోటితో ఒప్పుకొని, దేవుడు మృతులలోనుండి ఆయనను లేపెనని నీ హృదయ మందు విశ్వసించినయెడల, నీవు రక్షింపబడుదువు. ఏలయనగా నీతి కలుగునట్లు మనుష్యుడు హృదయములో విశ్వసించును, రక్షణ కలుగునట్లు నోటితో ఒప్పుకొనును.

   That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

3. మీరు విశ్వాసముద్వారా కృపచేతనే రక్షింపబడియున్నారు; ఇది మీవలన కలిగినది కాదు, దేవుని వరమే. అది క్రియలవలన కలిగినదికాదు గనుక ఎవడును అతిశయపడ వీలులేదు.

   For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

4. మరి ఎవనివలనను రక్షణ కలుగదు; ఈ నామముననే మనము రక్షణ పొందవలెను గాని, ఆకాశము క్రింద మనుష్యులలో ఇయ్యబడిన మరి ఏ నామమున రక్షణ పొందలేము అనెను.

   Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

5. ఏలయనగా పాపమువలన వచ్చు జీతము మరణము, అయితే దేవుని కృపావరము మన ప్రభువైన క్రీస్తుయేసునందు నిత్య జీవము.

   For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

6. యేసు నేనే మార్గమును, సత్యమును, జీవమును; నా ద్వారానే తప్ప యెవడును తండ్రియొద్దకు రాడు.

   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7. అందుకు వారు ప్రభువైన యేసు నందు విశ్వాసముంచుము, అప్పుడు నీవును నీ యింటివారును రక్షణ పొందుదురని చెప్పి

   And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

8. మనము నీతిని అనుసరించి చేసిన క్రియలమూలముగా కాక, తన కనికరముచొప్పుననే పునర్జన్మసంబంధమైన స్నానము ద్వారాను, పరిశుద్ధాత్మ మనకు నూతన స్వభావము కలుగజేయుట ద్వారాను మనలను రక్షించెను.

   Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

9. కాగా ఎవడైనను క్రీస్తునందున్నయెడల వాడు నూతన సృష్టి; పాతవి గతించెను, ఇదిగో క్రొత్త వాయెను;

   Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

10. ఏ భేదమును లేదు; అందరును పాపముచేసి దేవుడు అను గ్రహించు మహిమను పొందలేక పోవుచున్నారు. కాబట్టి నమ్మువారు ఆయన కృపచేతనే, క్రీస్తుయేసునందలి విమోచనము ద్వారా ఉచితముగా నీతిమంతులని తీర్చబడు చున్నారు.

    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

11. పాపులను రక్షించుటకు క్రీస్తుయేసు లోకమునకు వచ్చెనను వాక్యము నమ్మతగినదియు పూర్ణాంగీకారమునకు యోగ్య మైనదియునై యున్నది. అట్టి వారిలో నేను ప్రధానుడను.

    This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

12. ఇదిగో నేను తలుపునొద్ద నిలుచుండి తట్టుచున్నాను. ఎవడైనను నా స్వరము విని తలుపుతీసిన యెడల, నేను అతనియొద్దకు వచ్చి అతనితో నేనును, నాతోకూడ అతడును భోజనము చేయుదుము.

    Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
