1उन बातों के विषय में जो तुम ने लिखीं, यह अच्छा है, कि पुरूष स्त्री को न छुए।
2परन्तु व्यभिचार के डर से हर एक पुरूष की पत्नी, और हर एक सत्री का पति हो।
3पति अपनी पत्नी का हक्क पूरा करे; और वैसे ही पत्नी भी अपने पति का।
4पत्नी को अपनी देह पर अधिकार नहीं पर उसके पति का अधिकार है; वैसे ही पति को भी अपनी देह पर अधिकार नहीं, परन्तु पत्नी को।
5तुम एक दूसरे से अलग न रहो; परन्तु केवल कुछ समय तक आपस की सम्मति से कि प्रार्थना के लिये अवकाश मिले, और फिर एक साथ रहो, ऐसा न हो, कि तुम्हारे असंयम के कारण शैतान तुम्हें परखे।
