11दाऊद ने इस्राएल पर चालीस वर्ष राज्य किया, सात वर्ष तो उस ने हब्रोन में और तैंतीस वर्ष यरूशलेम में राज्य किया था।
12तब सुलैमान अपने पिता दाऊद की गद्दी पर विराजमान हुआ और उसका राज्य बहुत दृढ़ हुआ।
