तब इस ने आधी रात को उठकर, जब तेरी दासी सो ही रही थी, तब मेरा लड़का मेरे पास से लेकर अपनी छाती में रखा, और अपना मरा हुआ बालक मेरी छाती में लिटा दिया।
Tab is ne aadhee raat ko uthakar, jab teree daasee so hee rahee thee, tab meraa ladakaa mere paas se lekar apanee chhaatee mem rakhaa, aur apanaa maraa huaa baalak meree chhaatee mem litaa diyaa.

- 22तब दूसरी स्त्री ने कहा, नहीं जीवित पुत्रा मेरा है, और मरा पुत्रा तेरा है। परन्तु वह कहती रही, नहीं मरा हुआ तेरा पुत्रा है और जीवित मेरा पुत्रा है, यों वे राजा के साम्हने बातें करती रही।
