24और उस ने पूछा, क्या तू सचमुच मेरा पुत्रा एसाव है? उस ने कहा मैं हूं।
25तब उस ने कहा, भोजन को मेरे निकट ले आ, कि मैं, अपने पुत्रा के अहेर के मांस में से खाकर, तुझे जी से आशीर्वाद दूं। तब वह उसको उसके निकट ले आया, और उस ने खाया; और वह उसके पास दाखमधु भी लाया, और उस ने पिया।
26तब उसके पिता इसहाक ने उस से कहा, हे मेरे पुत्रा निकट आकर मुझे चूम।
27उस ने निकट जाकर उसको चूमा। और उस ने उसके वस्त्रों को सुगन्ध पाकर उसको वह आशीर्वाद दिया, कि देख, मेरे पुत्रा का सुगन्ध जो ऐसे खेत का सा है जिस पर यहोवा ने आशीष दी हो:
28सो परमेश्वर तुझे आकाश से ओस, और भूमि की उत्तम से उत्तम उपज, और बहुत सा अनाज और नया दाखमधु दे:
