- 7सेनाओं के यहोवा की यह वाणी है, हे तलवार, मेरे ठहराए हुए चरवाहे के विरूद्ध अर्थात् जो पुरूष मेरा स्वजाति है, उसके विरूद्ध चल। तू उस चरवाहे को काट, तब भेड़- बकरियां तितर- बितर हो जाएंगी; और बच्चों पर मैं अपने हाथ बढ़ाऊंगा।
- 8यहोवा की यह भी वाणी है, कि इस देश के सारे निवासियों की दो तिहाई मार डाली जाएगाी और बची हुई तिहाई उस में बनी रहेगी।
