ಆದರೆ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವರು ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ವ್ಯೂಹಕಟ್ಟುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷೈನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನಿಗೆ--
Aadare mikkaadavaru ammoniyarigeduraagi vyoohakattuva haage avarannu tanna sahodaranaada abshaina kaiyalli oppisikottu avanige--

- 10ಯುದ್ಧವು ತನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಇರುವದನ್ನು ಯೋವಾ ಬನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸಮಸ್ತರೊಳಗೆ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅರಾಮ್ಯರಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ವ್ಯೂಹ ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು.
- 11ಆದರೆ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವರು ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ವ್ಯೂಹಕಟ್ಟುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷೈನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನಿಗೆ--
- 12ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ನನಗಿಂತ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರು ನಿನಗಿಂತ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವೆನು,
- 13ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿರು; ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕ ರವೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಬಲ ಗೊಳ್ಳೋಣ. ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
