2. 2ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಸೌಲನು ಇರುವ ಮಿಕ್ಮಾಷಿ ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೇತೇಲಿನ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದರು; ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಯೋನಾತಾನನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದ ಗಿಬೆಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಉಳಿದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಅವರ ವರ ಡೇರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
3. 3ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಗಿಬೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಠಾಣವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದನು; ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಅದು ಕೇಳಿಬಂತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸೌಲನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಬ್ರಿಯರು ಕೇಳಲೆಂದು ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿಸಿದನು.
4. 4ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಠಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಸೌಲನು ಹೊಡೆದನೆಂದೂ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವರಾದರೆಂದೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಸೌಲನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
