3. 4ಆದರೆ ತಂದೆಗಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಾಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಾಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದು ಮೋಶೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲಿಲ್ಲ.
4. 5ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೂದದವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃ ಗಳ ಮನೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಹಸ್ರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಶತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ಆದುಕೊಂಡಂಥ, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗತಕ್ಕಂಥ, ಈಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಖೇಡ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಂಥ ಮೂರು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
5. 6ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವರಲ್ಲಿ ನೂರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ತಲಾಂತುಗಳಿಂದ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾದ ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
