3. 5ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೂದದವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃ ಗಳ ಮನೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಹಸ್ರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಶತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ಆದುಕೊಂಡಂಥ, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗತಕ್ಕಂಥ, ಈಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಖೇಡ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಂಥ ಮೂರು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
4. 6ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವರಲ್ಲಿ ನೂರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ತಲಾಂತುಗಳಿಂದ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾದ ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
5. 7ಆಗ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆಅರಸನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗದೆ ಇರಲಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರಾದ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
