1. 4ಅರಸನು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಸೇವ ಕನಾದ ಗೇಹಜಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ಎಲೀ ಷನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
2. 5ಅವನು ಸತ್ತವನನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸಿದನೆಂದು, ಗೇಹಜಿಯು ಅರಸ ನಿಗೆ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ಬದುಕಿಸಿದ ಮಗನ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ಆಗ ಗೇಹಜಿಯುನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ಅರಸನೇ, ಇವಳೇ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು, ಎಲೀಷನು ಬದುಕಿಸಿದ ಇವಳ ಮಗನು ಇವನೇ ಅಂದನು.
3. 6ಅರಸನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವಳು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಅವಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವಳು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಆ ಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಆ ಹೊಲದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವಳಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.
4. 7ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾ ಗಿರುವಾಗ ಎಲೀಷನು ದಮಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು. ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
5. 8ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಹಜಾಯೇಲನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು ಈ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಗುಣವಾಗುವೆನೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ಅವ ನಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸು ಅಂದನು.
