ಅವನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇದನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದು ನನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ. ಇದು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣದಾಶೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಕ್ತವಲ್ಲವೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕುಡಿಯಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದನು. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
Avanu--kartane, idannu kudiyuvadu nanage dooravaagirali. Idu tamma praanadaashe bittu hoda manushyara raktavallave endu heli kudiyalollade iddanu. Ivugalannu aa mooru mandi paraakramashaaligalu maadidaru.

- 17ಅವನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇದನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದು ನನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ. ಇದು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣದಾಶೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಕ್ತವಲ್ಲವೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕುಡಿಯಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದನು. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
- 18ಯೋವಾಬನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಅಬೀಷೈಯು ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಈಟಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೂವ ರೊಳಗೆ ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡನು.
- 19ಈ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಬಹು ಘನವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದದ್ದು ಇದ ರಿಂದಲೇ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ನಾದನು. ಹೇಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಮೂರು ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಸಮಾನನಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
