Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and [when] he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.

4. 7ಆಗ ಸೆರೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೆಹೂದ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದರು.
5. 8ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ, ಹಿರಿಯರ ಯೋಚನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಅವನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಾ ದಂಡವಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಡುವದೆಂದೂ ಅವನು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರ ಕೂಟದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವನೆಂದೂ ಸಾರಿದರು.
