ಅವರು--ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾವು ಚದರಿಹೋಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಗೋಪುರವನ್ನೂ ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ನಾವು ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯೋಣ ಅಂದರು;

- 5ಆಗ ನರಪುತ್ರರು ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಗೋಪುರವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದನು.
- 6ಕರ್ತನು--ಇಗೋ, ಜನವು ಒಂದೇ; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಭಾಷೆಯೂ ಒಂದೇ. ಈಗ ಅವರು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಊಹಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಯಾಗದು.
